Do I need to upload my footage to the cloud?

No. Nightcut analyses proxies locally on your machine and only syncs the edit decisions. Your originals never leave your drive unless you turn on cloud backup.

Can I export to Premiere Pro, Final Cut or DaVinci Resolve?

Yes. Creator and Studio plans export XML, FCPXML and EDL timelines with every cut, grade node and reframe intact, so you can finish in the tool you already use.

Which languages does transcript editing support?

Transcription and filler-word removal work in 32 languages, including English, Spanish, Portuguese, German, French, Japanese and Hindi.

What happens when I go over my footage hours?

Nothing breaks. We email you at 80 percent, and extra footage on Creator is billed at $0.50 per hour. Studio has no cap.

Is there a watermark on the free plan?

Starter exports carry a small corner watermark at 1080p. Any paid plan removes it and unlocks 4K exports.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. Cancel from settings in two clicks. You keep access until the end of the billing period and can export every project first.
